The Caribbean called Scott Medina, and he’s glad he listened. Born in New York, raised in Puerto Rico, having done business in the U.S. all his life, this Florida real estate broker found the silver lining within the cloud of a faltering economy; it was taking business outside of the Country to the sugar-colored beaches of the Caribbean; a dream come true. His permanent relocation to the Dominican Republic was featured on HGTV House Hunters International and is currently in pre-production for a second show with one of the many international families Scott has helped to make their dreams of a home in the Bavaro, Punta Cana area come true. Scott Medina attended The Florida State University where he earned a B.S. in Real Estate & Finance and has over 20 years of real estate experience in the Dominican Republic and the U.S. Scott has no plans of leaving Dominican Republic anytime soon since he married Rosalyn who is 100% Dominican and have two beautiful daughters together, Cecille Marie and Brianna Sophia.

Ellen van den Beld was born in The Hague, The Netherlands. At 21, she left The Netherlands to explore the world and worked for many years in the Film Industry in Spain, Italy and the United States. For several years, Ellen lived in Luxembourg and Brussels, Belgium as well, and worked as a Human Resource Manager for a Wealth Management company.

In 2001, after having spent several vacations in the Dominican Republic, Ellen made her dream come true and moved to Cabarete, a charming village on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and opened up a restaurant, Toma La Luna. She enjoyed the restaurant business but through a friend she got involved in the real estate business and she realized that this was her true love. She sold the restaurant in 2006 to concentrate on this new exciting business.

After having visited Punta Cana in 2009, Ellen understood that this part of the island was her home. The beautiful white sandy beaches, the turquoise ocean, the great infrastructure, the beautiful apartments and villas, the shopping areas and movie theaters, the golf courses, this was the place to be! Ellen got introduced to Scott Medina, Broker and owner of Go Punta Cana Real Estate through a friend and happy client from Scott and immediately started working with Scott.

Ellen knows the island inside-out and she can put her knowledge to work to help her clients to select the best property for their needs. Over the past years, Ellen has received several real estate awards.

Anny Rodriguez was born in the Capitol city of the Dominican Republic; Santo Domingo.

At the early age of 18, Anny began working for a company as an events organizer. Immediately after this, Anny began her work at an auditing firm in order to hone her new-found skills in the world of accounting. Anny had begun to take advantage of her studies in both accounting and marketing from both the Catholic University of Santo Domingo (UCSD) and the University Caribbean (UNICARIBE) respectively.

In 2007, Anny settled in Bavaro pursuing the potential for economic opportunity.

Following the career path that Anny had initially set forth, arose the opportunity for her to realize one of her dreams of opening a restaurant. In 2010, Anny opened the doors of “Outiside In”, a dining establishment that featured a variety of international dishes prepared to perfection. WIthin a very short period of time, Outside In had positioned itself as the “Number One Restaurant In The Area” within Bavaro, Punta Cana for approximately one year per the TripAdvisor.com travel resource website.

Expanding her opportunities and skill-set as well as taking advantage of her customer service aptitude and strong commitment to quality, Anny became a part of the Go Punta Cana Real Estate Team in 2012 as a Property & Rental Manager.

While Anny works diligently to further the growth of this real estate company, you may see her around town with her friends and family enjoying a night out with all there is to do in Bavaro and Punta Cana.

Hello, my name is Carla Gennen. I was born in Waddinxveen the Netherlands, it is a small city, 5 km from Gouda and 45 km from The Hague.

My family is my mam (Dutch), my father (Indonesia), my sister Jolanda with her husband Peter and son Raymond and his girlfriend and my beautiful daughter Simone who lives in the Netherlands with her boyfriend Freek.

In the Netherlands I have worked in an accountants office Brands & Wolff (now known as Moret, Ernst and Young) doing the administrations of the clients, after that I have worked in a company that organize big party’s and events in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France, it’s called Gertjan VANDERLOO Party Service, my work there was doing the administration and taking care of the payments on the event, also I was helping out as a waitress on the party’s or events.

After several vacations in Cabarete in the  Dominican Republic, loving the climate, nature and his people, I moved in 2006 to Cabarete, there I have worked as a waitress in restaurant Miro on the Beach also the administration, and as a waitress in restaurant Bliss and then I was receptionist in Hotel Velero.

In November 2011 I had the opportunity to move to Bavaro Punta Cana, where I started working for Diamond Spa as an administrator, after that I was administrator at the French Bakery in El Dorado.
Then I wanted something new and through a friend I came in contact with Scott. It went so quick, I spoke with Scott on a Saturday and Sunday night I received an email that I had the job.
Now several months later, I love my job so much, the contact with the clients personal or through email and Scott and my colleges are the best!
